Over the last year and a half we’ve conducted a strategic assessment of the Parts Washer industry, profiled multiple industry segments, conducted voice of customer (VOC) surveys, pinpointed growth opportunities, and forecasted industry trends. All of this was done to make Fountain the breakthrough company that will drive cost effective, “Green” innovation in the parts washer market. To support this vision, one of Fountain’s goals is to provide an even broader array of parts washer solutions including solvent, aqueous, cabinet washers and recycling units. Because of the diverse nature of the automotive and industrial markets we serve, we knew that offering a comprehensive line of parts washer products, accessories and services would result in more satisfied customers. But more importantly, we had to identify ways to significantly increase our speed-tomarket; that is, the lead-times needed to develop state-of-the-art solutions to you. With this as a backdrop, we’re pleased to announce that on Thursday, October 22, 2009 Fountain Industries acquired substantially all of the assets and product lines of KleenTec’s parts washer business.

KleenTec’s lines of aqueous and cabinet parts washers are a perfect complement to Fountain’s existing lines, providing a broader offering to address the growing market need for greener parts washing applications. Part two of our strategy will be to transform into a World Class full line supplier. Shortly, Fountain will announce its ambitious plans to launch into new, related product categories so that our customers view us as a single source supplier that can streamline their purchasing, inventory and sales needs. In the coming weeks, Fountain will also unveil a new brand identity that will more accurately depict this fresh, dynamic and industry-leading profile. The next 90 days will be exciting and dynamic as we blend these two businesses. During this transition, we will do everything possible to maintain the high level of service and support you’ve come to expect from Fountain.
